Glass Staircase

Many people are making the decision to upgrade their stairs with a glass railing. This is a modern alternative to the classic wooden banister. The solid glass can be a great safety feature in family homes, no heads can get stuck in this glass! The clean, crisp and modern feature can add style and value to any property. This installation features 15.5mm toughened glass. 

Often using glass can bring a lighter look to a gloomy hallway by reducing shadows on the walls and giving the illusion of more space. In the installation images shown below, the client has opted for a small white handrail along the top of the glass, although this is not required, its often used as a style feature. 

The choice for a white powder coated channel gives the stairs unity to the rest of the house. The Pure Vista POSIglaze channel is available from us in black brushed, silver brushed and raw Aluminium. However, you do also have the choice to get your channel powder coated. Most powder coating companies will be able to give you any colour!  

From 2021 Pure Vista have offered balustrade installers custom fabrication. This allows channel to be cut to specific sizes and have angles that are perfectly fitted to the job. Once the details have been triple checked (by you, then us, and you again) we can to the hard bit so when the channel arrives on site it is ready to be installed.
